The whole experience was a bit of a joke. They had me fly to London from abroad (no travel expenses covered), and sit a written test for 30 minutes with about 40 questions on stochastic calculus, programming in C++ and quantitative finance, not too tricky but difficult to finish in time. After I finished the test, an indian manager came into the room to know a bit about my background, although he hadn't even bothered reading my CV. We talked about my aspirations, and some easy probability questions. At some point, this person tried to convince me that the combination number C(n,k) was actually bigger than n!/k! while we were discussing a problem. I thought he was testing my knowledge, but then found out he was genuinely convinced that it was so. Just shocking. It kind of gave me a bad impression of the company and the level there. After I was done with my interview, I waited for two months only to find out that the job had to be put on hold for budget reasons. So I pretty much wasted my money and time interviewing for this company. I was offered a better job elsewhere later so didn't care too much.
