I was contacted through a Limited Recruiter and she was very nice. I had an initial conversation with the hiring manager over the phone for about 30 mins. They told me there was a number of financial analyst roles amongst a variety of departments but were otherwise pretty vague as to what the jobs would entail. A few days later I was told they would like to bring me in for a formal interview. They paid to fly me to Columbus and put me into a very nice hotel. I was very impressed. The interview lasted a full day.... meeting with 6-7 people individually for about an hour each. In general, it was fairly laid back, as most people simply asked me to walk them through my resume and other general behavioral questions. I left feeling pretty confident with how it went. About a week later HR called me back, to which I assumed would be to inform me they were ready to make an offer or politely decline. To my disappointment, I was told they'd like to bring me back for a SECOND and final round of interviews. Although I was more than willing to come back, I felt they weren't very forthcoming in the beginning of the process there would another round. The second interview was also a full day, but this time much more in depth. I met with a variety of associates, ranging from managers to directors and all the way up to the Vice President level. The questions were much difficult, as they really wanted to get a feel for my experience and how I would, "fit" into the enterprise. They also wanted to judge my knowledge of the company and the retail industry in general. About 2 days later, I received an offer to join the company and actually had the option to pick between two similar openings.
