Some DevSecOps-Dev guy randomly calling me out of the blue weeks after I had applied to do a phone screen (no email nor invite). Afterwards, their actual HR person sent me an invite to interview but the MS Teams meeting info was completely invalid. I tried getting connected *20 minutes early* to ensure there would be no issues, and I’ve never had a problem with MS Teams. The MS Teams link didn’t work, even tried dialing in but the meeting id was invalid. I emailed the HR contact to call me and she emailed back asking what the error was, which I immediately sent. Then I tried calling the DevSecOps person and he called me back with a new meeting id. When I joined there were five people on the call laughing at me, implying that it was my fault. How dare you! I went ahead and did the interview anyway knowing full well this was a non-starter. This is the absolute worst interview experience I’ve ever had, so completely unprofessional of these people. I feel like I dodged a serious bullet.
