I wasn't really interviewed, I was shown around the 'academy' then was told I would be contacted within 48 hours. Three days later I called to do a follow up and was told 'Oh I forgot to tell you, I need you here by "this time" to pick up your paper work because you start Monday'. Then on the first day, I was informed that they hired 3 previous ladies that lasted for 2 days due to the chaos that the 'academy' was and they would not tolerate it - should've seen that as a red flag!

I was sat in a tiny closet on a folding chair. The entire center smelled like urine, and I was lead to believe I got the job. Turns out I wanted too much money per hour so they just let me go. I also had previously held the same position as the current center director. I was over qualified if anything. The most unprofessional interview I’ve ever been to. Who interviews someone in a 2x2 closet with a folding chair??

It was a virtual Interview and the interviewer was so nice and accommodating. She asks me random questions about my current work and experiences. She hired on the spot however, I declined because salary range was too low.

Met first with the asst director, who showed me around each classroom, and then had a sit down with the director, who was very high energy and put together. She told me about the job, curriculum, benefits, and hiring process (which included sending my information to corporate online).
