LaunchDarkly reached out to me directly. I wasn't looking for a new role, but the company and opportunity seemed interesting, so I wanted to take the informational call. A recruiter call was setup through Calendly. The call lasted maybe 12 minutes total, with no pitch on the company or role. I felt like I drove the entire conversation, and I was wondering if maybe the recruiter was having an off day or that something went wrong in the process. Overall it gave me a poor impression of the company, and I knew nothing more about the role than what the job description listed. It was disappointing because much of what I've read about the company looks interesting and positive, but the recruiting process definitely seems to need more attention.

I honestly don't remember many questions, as I felt like I drove the conversation. The recruiter asked me if I knew what LaunchDarkly was.
Had a similar experience with the other engineering manager review. I had an intro call with a recruiter and at first I thought they were drunk or high. They were slow and sounded like they didn't care at all. It was so bad that I considered stopping in the middle of the call so we didn't waste each others time. It was definitely a turn off and I declined having an intro call with the engineering director.
