This was the most ridiculous process I have ever encountered. You give a seminar in front of a committee, and then they make everyone but the committee leave and each member takes turn asking you anonymized questions that they had come up with before hand. Supposedly, they asked the exact same question to every candidate to make things fair. Now that I have worked there for a while, I knew this was all for show, because this place is rife with favoritism and politics. After I passed that screen, it was not over yet...I needed to make two more trips to meet two other big wigs (division director).
