A senior leader of the organization saw my profile on LinkedIn and reached out to me about joining the company. He explained what they were looking for and asked me to send in some materials and schedule a formal interview. Days and weeks passed, and I couldn't get a time on their calendars to schedule. Every time I reached out to ask what was happening, I was told they were still very much interested in me for the role but had been busy traveling (pre-COVID). They eventually went completely silent, and I stopped trying. I don't know how they ever fill any positions.
