      Colloquio

I was weary of this going into it because they didn't require a cover letter, and only asked for a resume, but against my better judgement I went anyway. It was exactly as I thought, a sales job disguising itself as something different. The questions are simple interview questions and the lady I met with told me in the beginning it was a two-step interview process. The first being so they assess you and the second being the "meat and potatoes" (as she described it) of the job. During the interview she asked normal questions, where do you see yourself in the future, what are you looking for in a company, etc. She told me her backstory about how she maneuvered through he company and told me she was looking for someone to do the same and head the current office she was in. The way this sounded made it seem like a pyramid scheme but I went forth with the interview. She asked if I had any questions about the job and I asked about day to day operations and which point she told me they meet up and then go out to local retail stores. (which is obviously sales) I mentioned that I was looking to do more of the behind the scenes work and not really the front of marketing (a nicer way of me saying sales) at which point she ended the interview stating if something opened up for me, she'd call me.

Thanks for the review! As far as an interviewing process goes, we do things a little different. Instead of reading a cover letter about what you are looking for, we prefer to talk to you about it, which is why we reach out to speak with you prior to inviting you in for an interview. I am not sure if you had a chance to review our company website, but we are not a sales driven company, but sales are definitely something that you a trained in if you are looking to advance within our company and are mentioned in all of our ad postings when we are looking to fill positions. Our company is not a pyramid scheme as those are illegal and something that you need to pay into in order to become a part of. We do not require any form of payments in order to work with our firm. Thank again for the review and we hope you found what you are looking for.
