First I was contacted by HR by email requesting an interview. Then HR conducted a phone screen and then HR setup a call with the hiring manager, who I spoke with a week later I was brought in to interview in person with a couple different people about a month after that. Altogether it took about 2 months from the time of the first contact with HR to getting a written offer. I wasn't in a big hurry so the timing was fine, but it could be frustrating if there is an urgency to getting through the process faster than a couple months.
