I applied online and within 2 hours received a phone call from HR. I was invited to a phone interview with one person within two weeks, and surprise there were two people on the call. It was a nice interview everything went smoothly, and I asked for a timeline as to when I should expect to hear back, and I was told within two weeks. I also let them know that I would appreciate knowing either way, so I will know if I am no longer being considered, and they said that would be no problem. I sent a "thank you" email right away to the HR rep. , then I waited 2 weeks and contacted the HR rep again , he could not tell me whether or not they are moving forward with my application. So I went on LinkedIN and sent an INMAIL to the man I interviewed with, it has been 2 days with no response. I may have been ghosted by the company. If they want you, they will call. My advice to HR would be to be honest with the applicants, get the information from the interviewers if you do not have it, and be very clear about the company's intentions. If this is the way the company runs, I can see this not being a good fit. As a contract professional I like closure, and open communication.
