This was one of the worse interview processes I have gone through. I received emails from the recruiter asking me to come interview the next day (less than 24 hours) without any prior notice (this happened more than once). Ideally folks would be more notice to request time off from work. I chatted with the hiring manager and I enjoyed talking to them and learning about the role. They said they would provide updates on the process and were interested in my background and skills. I felt very positive after chatting with the hiring manager. I didn't hear anything for weeks. When I checked in, they said they would have an update next week. I hear nothing. Then about 3-4 months after the original conversation, I got a random system rejection. The interview process, timeline, and managing expectations could use some work.
