      Colloquio per Attorney

      28 gen 2016
      Candidato anonimo a colloquio
      San Francisco, CA
      Nessuna offerta
      Esperienza negativa
      Colloquio facile

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Levi Strauss (San Francisco, CA) nel mese di ott 2015

      Colloquio

I interviewed for an attorney position for Levi Strauss in San Francisco. I had a phone interview first with a recruiter and then with the hiring manager. The phone interview went very well - the hiring manager even told me that he would love for me to come in for an on-site interview. That was the last time I heard from the company while the position was still open. I did not get a response from the recruiter for 3 1/2 months, despite the fact that I either emailed or left her a voicemail about once every 2 weeks to try and check in. After my last email, she finally told me they'd made an offer to someone else. Of course by this point I was sure they had hired someone else, but I felt so disrespected as to be ignored for months that I became determined to continue emailing her until she actually got back to me. I will never consider working for this company again nor will I ever be a Levi's customer. I find it outrageous that an internal recruiter working for the company would think it's acceptable to ignore a candidate for 3+ months, AFTER the candidate has had a phone interview with the hiring manger. It's not like I randomly applied and talked to no one and then kept wanting to know if there was any interest. It is professional courtesy to give a response to someone after they have had an interview - especially if the person is following up at appropriate intervals and had a positive interview. Even if the response is simply "thanks, but no thanks." It's really not that hard to treat people with decency.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

It was more of a natural conversation, not a lot of scripted questions. The two biggies for a first in-house attorney position are always: (1) why are you leaving your firm, and (2) why do you want to go in-house? Those are the only two specific questions I can remember.
