Very easy conversation with an upbeat recruiter. They seemed impressed by my background and answers. Got back to me with an automated, canned rejection. There was no feedback provided, so the only thing I could think of is they either had an internal hire (the recruiter did mention there's a lot of movement internally) or they preferred someone with a legal background (which I don't have).
