      Colloquio per Senior Manager Communications

      29 gen 2014
      Candidato anonimo a colloquio
      Boston, MA
      Nessuna offerta
      Esperienza negativa

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Liberty Mutual Insurance (Boston, MA) nel mese di nov 2013

      Colloquio

The recruiter contacted me off of my profile on LinkedIn. After her interview on the phone, I was interviewed on the phone by the hiring manager. It was decided a week later that I would fly to Boston to be interviewed by the team. The airplane tickets and hotel were arranged by Liberty and sent to me via email. Then the recruiter was replaced by a different one, who I met in Boston. Before the interview, I did extensive research on the history of the company, values, earnings, latest press and other facts. I had a notebook with each of these areas noted for easy reference during the interviews. I also outlined my work examples and prepared questions for each of my interviewers. I proceeded to interview with the hiring manager, two stakeholders and two would be teammates. The interview was behavioral based and since I prepared many examples of my work to address each question to limit repeating my examples. I wanted to show the depth and breadth of my experience in this area. I was told by the recruiter at the end of the day that I was the strongest candidate and the group would make a decision in a week. I went back to the West Coast and the next day got an email from the new recruiter asking for samples of my work (I didn't leave any behind, just showed them). I complied and also sent my expense report for taxi, 2 lunches, one dinner and airport parking and mileage. I was told to send the expense report on a special form, which I complied with. One week later, no word, and I sent the entire package again via email. Second week and no word, I sent the entire package again. The third week, I again sent it and a month later I sent it all again, without an answer. The only phone number I have is to the original recruiter who went out on leave. To date, I have not received any responses.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

I asked one of the interviewers, "If you could change one thing about your business strategy, what would it be?" and she was stumped and demonstrated visible irritation that I asked the questions. Perhaps that is why I never heard back?
