The Preliminary Phone interview was conducted by the workforce manager. Questions during this interview were mainly to determine if I understood the role and responsibilities of the position. At this point in the process the workforce manager also elaborated on the nature of the work shifts and and employee expectations. This phone interview was then followed by one face to face interview. Interview was with department Director and Assistant Director. Prior to the final job offer, the workforce manager emailed out a mandatory typing and grammar test. Test results were then emailed back to the workforce manager.

Both the phone and face to face Interview questions dealt with motivation for the field, pay expectations, shift requirements, customer service skills, and career goals. The department as a whole was looking to build at the time and candidates who expressed a willingness to stay with the department for at least 2 years were considered more favorably.
