I applied on Saturday, I got a call Monday morning and scheduled a phone interview for Wednesday(today).It was probably the most basic phone interview I have ever had. Extremely easy, I was over prepared. I am not in the process of getting scheduled for an assessment/job shadowing day. He said he will get back with me before the end of the week.

I was asked the basic questions. However, my first and favorite question was what is your favorite book and I thought that was great. It relaxed me and I wasn't so nervous. By the way my answer was, "The Fred Factor". it happened to be the book I picked up and read that day and I genuinely enjoyed it.

HR phone call, 10 to 15 minute screen, followed by an area manager face to face interview usually about 10 minutes. Sometimes a second interview. Results will probably take a while.

I had been an associate manager for years prior to my interview for store manager. Area manager and I were already familiar and he was very warm, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process, even when asking me more serious questions.
