Hands down the most unprofessional recruiter/interviewer I've ever had the misfortune of interviewing with in 10 years in this industry. She clearly never looked at my portfolio or read my resume, or she was simply too inept to understand what she was looking at even when spoonfed to her. The interview was closer to a rapid-fire criminal interrogation re-iterating my resume in a manner where you'd think I was explaining to a child who never heard of this job, let alone respected it, what I did in wildly irrelevant ways.
She then, of course, lowballed me, and when I tried to politely cut the interview short then and there, she laughed at me and mocked me - again. Throughout the entire interview there were plenty of scoffs, laughs, and condescending behavior from the interviewer who tried to claim I only have 2 years of experience - I have 10, from much "higher ranking" studios doing the same job.
The only reason I accepted this interview (I don't remember or have recorded applying for this job) was because "eh screw it, if they're trying to leech me let's see what their offer is!" Anyone younger, less experienced, or whatever who interviews with this studio: the way an interviewer, even an inept recruiter, treats you in the initial interview is highly reflective of how the company runs as a whole. Don't accept this type of lowball and unprofessional behavior from anywhere that's not a AAA or similar studio where the resume line makes up for the lack of pay.
