Applied via the website and received an email asking me to book a 30 min phone interview. Before I could even answer any interview questions, I was immediately hit with “just to be transparent with you, we already have two highly qualified candidates, and they are going through their assessments this week”. The interview was meant to last 30 mins, but it literally lasted 7 minutes. I pushed it for longer because I had a few questions about the company/role, that I wanted to know more about. She asked me two questions and that was it. I was told that I would be put forward to the next stage this week. I have heard nothing at all. What I was told could have been a lie. Maybe they just didn’t want me to go through to the next stage. Who knows If you’re are interviewing and planning to apply for a role at this company, be prepared to be ghosted. I was quite disappointed but now I’m not. The company has shown itself to be quite disorganised with everything. This situation doesn’t reflect the company in a positive light at all. I wouldn’t be happy to run a place where people aren’t given an equal chance.
