After applying online, I was contacted shortly after by recruiting to schedule a phone interview. It was very friendly with basic questions about my past experiences and the description of the specific department and company.
After that, I was contacted again to schedule another phone interview with two more people closer to and more knowledgeable about the role. Questions were mainly about my past experiences, again, and how I used my skills at my last role.
Waiting for feedback took about a week due to them recently hiring a new department director until I finally heard back that they tweaked the job a bit and it ended up not fitting my background. Although the news was disappointing, the person from recruiting I was in contact with was always very friendly and professional.
From beginning to end, the whole process took a little less than a month.
