After you apply, you will be given an online screening test. This is done via a Zoom meeting, proctored, cameras on, during which you will spell some nonsense words to test your understanding of phonics, and then you will read several short passages and answer some reading comprehension questions. If you pass this screener, the leadership at the center you applied to will review your resume and interview you. They asked me about my previous job experiences, why I wanted to work in this role, and then had me do a practice exercise to demonstrate the method they use in some of their instruction. The screener test took maybe an hour (I think you get a bit longer, but can leave if you finish early, and part of that time is them sharing introductory info with you.) The in person interview lasted less than 30 minutes.
