Phone interview with hiring manager & HR then in-person panel interview with a presentation. Front-end was quick, back-end was not. They told me I'd hear back in a week and a half after the interview, which I did not, but I attributed it to the holidays. Turns out, they had an internal candidate (that's great but) & they strung me along until the internal candidate made a decision. Promoting your internal employees is great, but essentially leaving me on "read" for a month while actively saying you're still interested in moving forward, is not.
