I recently went through the interview process for a Program Manager role at Linus Health, and I wanted to take the time to share my experience and encourage others navigating a similar journey.
From the beginning I appreciated how open, honest, and communicative each person was. I knew what to expect along the way, as each step was clearly outlined. Following each interview I received not only feedback on next steps but they were always interested in hearing how I felt things went and gathering feedback for improvements. Additionally, each of the interviewers I met with seemed very interested in understanding more about who I was beyond what was listed on my resume.
Throughout the entire process I felt as though each team member was respectful and their questions were clear, thoughtful, and reflective of the responsibilities of the role. One of the things that stood out to me the most was their overall transparency regarding the challenges and expectations for the role. All of these things led to an overall positive experience and a wonderful impression of the company. I am grateful for the opportunity to interview for this role and would encourage others looking for a new opportunity to explore roles at Linus Health.

The individuals I interacted with throughout this process were professional, particularly the recruiting team. The conversations themselves were substantive and the people at Linus clearly care about what they're building.
That said, the process itself was difficult to navigate. I was introduced to two separate roles across two different teams over the course of several weeks (one of which did not have a finalized job description at the time of interviews). After six conversations with positive feedback at each stage, I was ultimately told my experience wasn't the right fit. The ambiguity in the process was frustrating and could be improved with better internal coordination before candidates are introduced to opportunities.
