The process was unnecassarilry difficult and took too long. We were told to get there for 8:30 they didn't bother to get us until after 9am. Went in a training room for a presentation on what they did in 2017 and what they wanted to achieve in 2018 and then went for an office tour. Came back and had to do an ice breaker, then had to watch another presentation on what the job was and do a mini exam on it (there were atleast 2 questions on the paper that they didn't even go over with us) Did a quick fire question round about scenarios and then had to do a silly dragons den based presentation and then they split the group in half and told half of them they were going for an interview and the other half that they weren't. Overall glad I didn't get the job based on this experience. 2 girls walked out at lunch because the recruitment agent who did the interview with us told us we WOULD be having an interview in the afternoon not you had to be here 8:30-2 and even then you might not actually get to have an interview (this was the case by the way) wasted everyone's time, shouldn't promise you're going in for an assessment day and interview when you're just feeding us lies. We were told we would get feedback for our assessment day the next day and we didn't and the managers made you look stupid when you asked a question making you seem like you'd got the wrong end of something or that you didn't seem to understand. 1 of the girls said she had already been in for an interview and she was told this was her induction day so they already knew who they were going to hire and just thought they'd waste our time. Found the managers quite condescending and they seemed to look down their noses at you

I got a call from the recruitment team who said they wanted to invite me to a “training day.” I accepted and attended. I was not told that there was 11 other candidates. I was also told lunch was provided which it was not. The first thing they did was give us a tour of the whole office which was pointless considering they were only hiring 2 people. After this we were shown a presentation and had to take notes. This was followed by a test which was quite difficult. Next we were put into groups for ice breakers and a team work exercise which had nothing to do with the role we were applying for. After all this, the staff left the room to decide who they would take further for one to one interviews. I was not selected and was basically told to leave then and there. I was quite frustrated at this as I had spent time and money to attend this “interview” and was told absolutely nothing about what would take place. I would have never attended if I knew I wouldn’t get the chance to interview one to one. I think it’s quite a ridiculous process and humiliating. Please do your research into this companies recruitment process before attending. Another girl told me she had already had 2 previous interviews for the role whereas I had nothing. I believe I was just added to make up numbers.
