HR contacted me for interview which went well as she was professional throughout. Moved to VP of Sales (great guy), Then Customer Success Mgr (nice and smart).
Everything seemed to be going well until Chief of Sales entered picture. Gave me 30 minutes with a hard stop. Did not call me until 6 minutes past start time and then spent 19 of the 24 minutes grilling me about sales numbers from 2011-2013 that were not on my resume.
He gave off a bad vibe overall and completely killed the positive vibes I had from the rest of the team. I did move on to the presentation part but did not get chosen in the end as I did not have a good presentation. I honestly did not give the presentation the attention I would have prior to my chat with Chief of Sales so I understand why I was not offered.
After reading reviews here I likely dodged a bullet which the Recruiter even mentioned being an issue for them.
It appears this is a common theme with Vista Equity sales roles. I will not entertain another one at any point and will tell other to do the same.

All over the place. The Chief of Sales was really numbers focused. Literally spent 80% of our 30 minutes on this to where we had no time left to discuss the role or actually learn anything about each other. Kinda uncomfortable but half way through I realized he just didn't like me or he was the kind of guy I could never work for long term.

Applied for position advertised on Lithium's website, LinkedIn etc. initial response from recruitment very fast. Flew past screening with in-house recruiter, prepared for next stage interviews including arranging time and place, process stalled for a month or two and then informed position on-hold due to head-count freeze. Having prepared quite extensively for meeting with VP my main concern with the proposition was how sticky and engaging is Lithium and what are client renewal rates etc? A lot of the online communities I reviewed and tracked during this time didn't appear to be buzzing with number of members or fresh content (Virgin, BarclayCard etc.).
