Recruiter was nice. The interview process was smooth and he said he would have me speak with the hiring managers. That process took about 2 weeks until I was contacted by another person who set up the virtual interview. When time came, both hiring managers did not show up for the virtual meeting. I waited 30 minutes and called the organizer about the no show. She apologized and had set up another meeting. The next time both hiring managers were 10 minutes late to the call and they didn't have my resume with them in hand so they asked about my previous experiences. Overall the meeting went well. Then I never heard back from them for a whole month. Finally the original recruiter that I spoke with called to let me know I had received an offer. After much thought, I decided to move forward with another company that took one week within the hiring process to offer a position. In my opinion, the interview process at Lonza was completely dragged out especially for an entry level position.

The interview itself was pleasant — I met with two supervisors who were friendly and asked standard questions. My biggest issue was with Lonza's recruiting team and their lack of follow-up communication. After my onsite, I was explicitly told I'd hear back promptly but had to send three emails over three weeks to get a response. This happened across two additional positions I was contacted about as well — both times I was told I'd hear back by end of week and was ghosted. The recruiting team seems to have a real problem delivering rejections to candidates.
