Person interviewing started the conversation in an accusatory way, without asking for context or clarification internally first. The company represented a negative attitude and asked work history questions that were clearly on my LinkedIn and resume (not researching candidates beforehand is a huge red flag exposing your intentions). When asked questions about advancement at the company and retention, their response was simply "Let's just make sure you can sell first before we talk about the future." The company has unrealistic sales goals targeted towards stressing the AE and generating as much fluff in the pipeline as possible to go for an org sale. Classic pump and dump tactic used by companies looking for short term returns to exit the market and pad pockets. The interviewer decided to also start eating towards the end of the interview, clearly indicating their disinterest in the conversation. They are obviously looking for low hanging fruit, of perhaps a desperate AE. Steer clear. Stereotypical industry org tactic of short term company that will lease your talents for 3 months, take your pipeline, and send you to the unemployment line while trying to cash out on inflated numbers.
