They try to see if you have knowledge in that specific department and how you would handle an upset customer.

Basic questions, mostly about customer service and how you please the customer. No plumbing experience needed because they didn’t ask plumbing questions. Lowe’s feels like they can teach the plumbing portion once your hired.

I applied in November, did my interview at the end of November and was offered the position 3 weeks (mid December) after I interviewed. I start my new position January 2018.
