I applied for several positions online through Lumen.com. Completed several HireView interviews. No follow up from a live human being, no feedback other than the Insights report. I will say the application process has improved since last year, but still needs improvement. There is a disconnect between the candidate profile and actual job board. Like most career portals, it would be nice to be able to apply to the job(s) using my candidate profile instead of having to apply and enter all of the same information multiple times, especially the work history only to have to go back through my candidate profile and delete the duplicate entries in the work history because they do not sync. I find this a necessary improvement, especially for a high profile technology company. The Hireview process has improved since last year. I used to have to literally do the same interview (same questions and games) over and over if applied for multiple roles which was very frustrating. I'm glad they have improved this portion where it now saves your interviews so if you've applied to multiple roles it's not asking you to do the same interview over and over again. However it is a tad bit concerning when the exit email thanks you for interviewing for a role title that doesn't match the role title you applied for. I find Lumen to be a great company and would love the opportunity to join, but it seems a bit difficult to land an opportunity with this company or even a phone conversation with a live human being. I find the initial assessments helpful, but not entirely accurate or a good assessment of the talent and skill needed for many of their roles.
