Pretty standard interview process, but it quickly became unprofessional after the first two interviews. The interviewer did not show up for the follow-up interview, and ignored all attempts of communication. It's completely fine if a company wants to move forward with a different candidate; just be professional and communicate your intentions. Don't waste a potential candidate's time by not showing up to a scheduled interview!
