I applied for a few positions online, and a Lyft employee called me the next day for a short phone interview. It was basically to make sure you are not a robot. They invited me to the office the following day for a group interview. Do not be surprised or intimidated by this. We all chatted and did a simple task together before a speed dating interview style session. It felt very professional, but relaxed at the same time. The whole process was pretty quick, because I was invited back the next day for a final in person interview with a few role plays and was offered a job after that.

The hiring process was pretty smooth. I initially applied in may and was given a job offer the next month. I appreciated everyone I spoke with. The hiring team was warm and inviting. I had three rounds of interviews.

Once they email you saying they would like to interview you, you first send in a written response to an email from a driver and they review it and if they like how you responded then they emailed me a link and the time of the interview. Then when you go to the link you join the meeting and you get interviewed by 4 different people including a customer role play. And they also check your internet connection. They also make sure you have a desk, chair and a quiet office space in your home.
