*******DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME******
I recently gave telephonic interview with Lyft. It was a very bad experience. I don't want to mention the name. The interviewer is very new to the company as he just joined the company and doesn't know how to behave in the interview.
I’ve had a really bad experience with the interviewer. He is obstructing me every single second. I didn’t feel it was like an interview. He doesn’t know how to communicate well at least during the interview. He didn’t ask any coding question and completed the call in 40 mins as it supposed to be 1 hour. Initially, he told he will take a coding in the end but he didn’t do that.
I have a lot of respect on Lyft mission and I really value their vision. But having this kind of interviewer personality in the company will spoil the environment and thank God I didn't move forward. He was arrogant in the call and keep on obstructing as if he knows everything in the world. On top of that, he is scolding Google company as if he is so great to know all the concepts. I strongly believe he didn’t get an offer from Google that's the reason he is scolding. I request Lyft team, please take interviews from the experienced professionals rather than newbies.
The process includes understanding of Both theory and coding. Fundamentals is necessary, algorithms, data cleaning, data processing etc. Problem solving and teamwork is an essential skill. The process of setting up the interview was smooth.

The process took around 3 weeks. Many stages of the interview (1+4). All the interviewers were positive and tolerant. One interviewer didn't show up. So the interview was rescheduled. It was not a problem but took more time. You must pass the first interview and then 3 out of 4. Pass means complete on 100%! (I thought that I performed well but it was not enough)

First, was contact with HR containing a full description of the process. Pre-screen interview: basic ML questions, live coding middle-level problem (not ML or algorithms); Experience interview: soft-skills + resume; ML Domain: given a real-life problem, you should describe it in ML terms and tell your solution; CS fundamentals: middle LeetCode problem; Laptop coding: you should code the OOP problem.

I add a first get to know HR interview followed by an online coding challenge. The process was very positive. The interviewers were always very nice and friendly. The process was very clear and transparent.
