Fairly standard. Phone screening followed by an "on-site" final round. I leave on-site in quotations because I was led on to that point in the process and then ghosted.
After the second phone interview, the recruiter told me that I would be moving onto the final round and should expect to receive a few date options in the next week. Fast forward to two weeks later, and the recruiter has not gotten back with a specific date but cites "scheduling challenges" and asks me to hold on for a few more days. A few days pass and I still have not heard anything from the recruiter so I again follow-up myself only to hear that they have moved on with another candidate. How unprofessional and rude, and what a waste of time! A candidate shouldn't have to chase down the recruiter when they were told that the final round was being scheduled. Just be up front and honest instead of lying about your intentions!
