I did not apply the "traditional" way. I was introduced to a contact and had a ohone screening to get more details on my professional experience, as well as what type of role I am looking for. The converdation went well. I was told the hiring process was a "work in progress" and had to wait to be invited to a hiring event to move forward. In the meantime, I was sent an application and asked to complete it prior to the hirining event. Unfortunately, I was not provided adequate information regarding how the hiring event would occur and was thrown off by being interviewed panel style. Although that was a surprised, the panel was very polite and easy to talk to. 10 minute debrief afterwards with a recruiter. I, however, had to reach out to the recruiter for a status, but was ultimately offered a position.
