A brief screening interview followed by a panel presentation. From the get-go I had a feeling that they already had someone in mind for the job and were just going through the motions to interview more than one person. This happens a lot in industry these days, sadly. The basic qualification and hr pre-screening was pretty basic and boilerplate. That was followed by a presentation by me to a panel that seemed wholly uninterested. They asked a few unremarkable questions because the silence was getting awkward. I was told at the end that I would hear back soon with some feedback. And that was it. Then they forgot about me. Months later, after contacting 4-5 people separately, I got the answer! I wasn't selected, surprise surprise. The position had gone to someone internal. I was so far from getting the job that the members of the panel that interviewed me had not even returned any feedback to the HR staff. Hilarious.

Like other reviewers here I had a fairly standard interview, consisting of a panel of 5 individuals who alternated between technical/programmatic/interpersonal questions. Overall it was a great interview and the team was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. However my review is a warning to others due to lack of decency by the talent advisor. After being down selected I waited 7 weeks, foregoing other offers, only to be told the project had been cancelled the day before Thanksgiving. Despite my best efforts to reach out to the advisor, I would only receive ambiguous replies days or weeks later. So my advice would be if you’re not receiving definitive answers from your talent advisor, move on or at least prioritize your other options.
