Applied online. The HR processes are immature (the lady didn't even show up for one of the online meetings she scheduled!).
They have a few technical rounds. Although they label them differently - they are all technical rounds. In at least one of the rounds the interview is purely academical! Tell us exactly how many aggregate functions oracle has and describe each situation where you will use them. Share your screen and show us how you will write each of them. They will snicker if you say can I look up the documentation for how OVER [PARTITION BY] works. What are OSI layers? (like in 15 years of programming I have never had to think about this). I knew this company wasn't for me when the tech fella could not believe that db indexing and its schedules can be a DBA task and not a software dev task.
I dont know if this was only for me - but it definitely felt like the case where when an interviewer wants you to walk off they ask "tell me my fathers name"
