The people interviewing me were amazing. I thought they asked the most intelligent questions and really got to the heart of what it means to be passionate about developing software. The interviews from people who were not software developers were also fantastic. It was immediately clear that MX hires people who are curious and kind. Dealing with HR was pretty awful. It was like I was talking to an entirely different company. They were disrespectful, cold and took forever to respond. My whole interview process took 3 months! It was crazy that I even took the job, but I was really looking forward to working with the people who interviewed me. The HR people who were in charge when I was hired were fired, but I hear similar complaints about the disrespect and lack of communication to this day. And the hiring process is still long and nebulous.
