      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso MX (Provo, UT) nel mese di giu 2015

      Colloquio

Overall, very good. I applied online and received a confirmation email within 24 hours which stated that I would hear from the hiring/recruiting team within a week or five business days. Within five business days I did in fact get a call from a recruiter (Becky). She interviewed me for about 1.5 hours and I felt very comfortable during the call. I felt comfortable enough to be very candid and ask direct questions about any concerns or questions that I had relating to the company and the position. I felt as though the interview went well and I was happy with the results. Before I hung up the phone with Becky, she mentioned that she would present my information to the hiring managers to see if they would be interested in interviewing me in person. Within a week I got an email from Becky and I was asked to come in and interview with the West Coast Hiring Manager. I showed up to my interview and was interviewed by the West Coast Hiring Manager and then handed off to the Director of Sales Training to be interviewed a second time. The interviews seemed to go well, but, I wasn't sure what the next steps would be. I ended up calling the recruiting department at MX and spoke to both Shilo and to Becky. Becky let me know that I would be meeting with the East Coast Sales Manager for an interview and that she would arrange it in the near future. I had mentioned some concerns to Shilo (the other recruiter) that I felt as though I needed to learn more about the company and do more due diligence. Shilo immediately emailed me the Company Profile and Benefits Guide as well as answered any questions I had while she was on the phone with me. Both recruiters seemed very generous with their time and they truly seemed as though they were trying to be as helpful as possible throughout the process. I was then set up with a phone interview with the East Coast Hiring Manager. It was a phone interview because of his busy travel schedule (business meetings). That interview went well too in my opinion. He was open, candid, and answered all of my questions. I also felt that he asked me good questions. Most importantly, he was very open to answering all of my detailed and sometimes tough questions in a direct and transparent way. Within a day or two, I was told that I would have an interview with the executive team. Meanwhile, I was in the interview process with 4 or 5 other opportunities. While waiting to hear back about my final interview from MX, I was offered two other jobs (outside of MX). I immediately called the recruiters at MX and and let them know that I had been given two other offers from other companies. I let MX know that I was still very interested in the job, but, that I needed to know what the timeline was on my final interview so that I could be respectful to my other opportunities/offers. Within 24 hours I got a call from Becky with a job offer. She mentioned that the executive leadership team was happy with the results from my previous interviews and that they would like to extend an offer. Now that I had three offers on the table I had to make a final decision and choose one company. I still felt that I wanted to do more due diligence with MX so I called Shilo (recruiter) and asked if it was okay that I call the West Coast Hiring Manager and ask him if I could reach out to two of the Global Account Sales Executives to ask them questions. The West Coast Manager immediately gave me two of his sales reps personal numbers. I ended up reaching out to them and was able to talk to one of them before making my final decision. The call with the sales rep was very helpful and made me feel comfortable that I had done enough thorough research to be able to make a good decision. Overall, I felt that the interview process was a good one, mostly due to the help and open and timely communication from the recruiters. Anyone who has ever interviewed at a company knows that the worst part is the waiting and wondering if you will move on to the next step. It's torture. At MX I felt as though I was kept informed within a relatively timely manner. That made the overall experience less stressful. My only complaint would be that the interview process wasn't as in-depth as I would have liked. I would have liked the interviews to be longer and I would have like to have been interviewed by more individuals. This would have allowed me to get to know the company and the leadership better through my own questioning and due diligence. Although, when this concern was brought up, the recruiters and managers offered to have me talk to sales reps and anyone else in the company who I felt it necessary to speak with. In the end, they relieved my concerns and made the experience a great one. Having a comfortable and open communication channel between the recruiters and myself was key. It reduced the stress significantly and made the process comfortable.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

They asked me several questions. Most of them focused on my sales background, the kind of people and organizations that I have sold to, and my style of selling. They also asked me how I work within a team environment.
