Applied online, heard back from an Amentum recruiter within 2 weeks with additional questions. I was scheduled for a Teams call which turned into a Google Meet because the panel couldn't access the Teams call. The call had standard behavioral questions. The panel was pleasant but aggressively honest with information. There are no mid-level positions. People work for MacFadden, an Amentum company (as it was constantly referred to, so they must be required to say the full name) for 2-3 years then find employment with partner companies. You need a background check so don't expect to work for several months. Nothing shocking, nice to see people being honest, just the way it was reiterated gave "red flag" vibes. The contract with the government is under review, but they won't fire 300+ employees (hahaha - nervous laughter from the panel or joke in poor taste?) In the end, got ghosted. No offer, no rejection, no response to my questions after the interview.
