I arrived ten minutes early and was greeted by my interviewer right away. It was nice that I didn't have to wait more scheduled time. We went into one of the offices and the interviewer was too relaxed for my liking but went with it. The interviewer told me about the description of the job and told me flexibility was important. I told the interviewer that my schedule was very flexible and open. The interviewer then went through a list of questions that he had on his paper. I answered the questions and the interviewer took notes. I didn't think all the questions were relevant to the job position but I answered to the best of my ability. I'm a college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design, and I thought that would help me get the minimum wage job, I was wrong. I'm OK with not getting the job but what really irked me about the whole interview process is that the interviewer told me they were still interviewing and that it would take a few days to decide. Well those few days only took 30 minutes, 30 minutes after the interview I received a generic rejection e-mail. If the interviewer knew I wasn't right for the job or they already had somebody else in mind, they could have told me in person. Also the rejection letter said "We have carefully reviewed your skills and qualifications. Unfortunately, we do not have an appropriate job opportunity for you," which means the other jobs I had applied for at Macy's I didn't qualify for whatever reason.
