La procedura ha richiesto un giorno. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Macy's nel mese di ott 2010
Colloquio
I applied online for Seasonal and got an email about 4 days later to schedule an interview. I scheduled it for the next week.
I sat in one of the chairs in the hallway, waiting for the time for my interview. A few workers walked back and forth. There were a few workers in the office, and I could hear their conversation loud and clear. When I met my interviewer, she took me into a room and asked me "Why do you want to work at Macy's?" Most of the questions were fairly easy, and I remember reading them online.
She was a nice woman, and joked around a little bit. This was my first 1:1 interview so I was nervous, but it was so much better than I expected.
We talked a lot about my schedule. She seemed like she wanted to make it as flexible as possible so I can continue my other activities. She told me about the dress code, and what Seasonal employees do, (Clean up after customers, put clothes away, don't just stand by the register all day) and she made sure I was aware that I would be on my feet for long hours and asked if I was okay with that. I kept replying, "definitely." At the end, she hired me and I had to fill out some papers and schedule orientation and training.
I am excited to be a Macy's Seasonal Employee!

What would you do if you witnessed an employee using their employee discount for a friend?
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.

The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
