This interview process is just strange.
I applied online, got an email saying to schedule an interview, I took the first available.
Then got an e-mail saying where to go in Macy's (up escalator, to the right, behind the customer service counter/exec. offices) which seemed odd but oh well.
I got there, followed the instructions, ended up in some warehouse type thing, then finally found the woman and she told me she'd be right with me.
She was SUPER nice but kept telling me that she had "nothing to do with if they hire or not, she just is there to make sure I show up/am able to do the job." it went really well i thought, seeing as I had been the head Beauty Adviser for 2+ years at WAGS, but apparently not. She just made conversation with me no real questions except what I did as Head B.A, and said it's really good I have experience, ect. I also graduated from cosmetology school. So i felt more than qualified for this job. Retail and cosmetics are what I have 4+ years experience in...
At the end of my interview she said look for an e-mail if you get one you get a second phone interview.
Well less then 24 hrs I get an email saying they can 'no longer consider me, but thank you'? from the talent agency.....??? No reason why, nothing.
So overall it was just a bad experience because I felt lied to/led on After reading this reviews/interviews I'm kinda glad I didn't get it.
