I was invited by email to schedule an interview for a posted part time support position on their website. The only interview slot open was about 2 weeks later. My interview was 1:1. The interviewer told me there were no part time positions available, only flex team, which get a laughable amount of hours per week. I was very annoyed that Macy's didn't email me and tell me that the position I was applying for was no longer available BEFORE I went to the interview! It ended up being a waste of time as the interviewer still had to ask me some questions off of a form. Those hypothetical questions that tell them nothing about the candidate.

I applied online, and got an email to set up an interview for the next day. I got there several minutes early and I had the first scheduled interview for the day, but still had to wait in the customer service area for about an hour and a half for someone to come in to interview me. The interviewer got there eventually, and gave a description of the job. Most of the interview was "describe a time when..." type of interview questions. About another day after the interview I got an email that I wasn't hired, but I was glad that I didn't have to wait any extra days to find out if I got the job.
