      Interviewed with this organization up to the CEO Level received great feedback, remained connected, discussed professional and organization goals. Felt a connection that was profound. Within a week after my 5th and final interview with the CEO was advised that there is a position hold, which is understandable in the climate today. I remained confident and connected with the recruiter with few updates which is fine. I received no rejection; however, since my connections with my interviewers was great or so it seemed I wanted to remain connected via LinkedIn for any possible update. Therefore, I have since seen the position reposted as an announcement by those that I interviewed with? Question? If not selected we are adults why not just connect on a human level reach out and discuss or provide a rejection notice that you are moving forward with another candidate? Ghosting in this market is the highest form of disrespect and unprofessionalism. Perhaps I went through every round of interview for over a month and carving out immediate time from my schedule to only result in a ghost story... *People first culture starts with the candidate experience and only grows in respect from that point. Madison Reed please audit your candidate pool especially that of individuals who have gone through every step of your interview process and if not fitting please send an email or pick up the phone. The majority of mature adults - although saddened will understand your position. And the candidates that do not understand perhaps you dodged that one. Very disheartening to see and hear. Social media is here and interested/engaged candidates are watching, monitoring and hopeful. Terribly sad state of events for this interested and engaged candidate. First egregious lesson learned in ghosting behavior in my over 25 years as a professional.
