Where to start? I’m a senior leader with almost 20 years of professional experience and have never had such an awful interview experience. Interviewer behaved as though she was inconvenienced by having to interview me. Her connection was terrible (background noise, call center maybe?) and she talked so fast I could barely understand her. First asked for the name of my current employer (which was on my resume had she bothered to read it), and asked why I was looking for a new job. She was NOT tactful at all with this inquiry. She then asked my salary and when my answer was above their range, she said “you’re not going to get that”. Proceeded to run through the job responsibilities, noting that I would be “expected to be at the airport at 4am or 10pm, but you do get two days off a week unless your clients are flying”. Um, what? The whole interaction was very sales pitch-like. Hard to believe they operate in the luxury segment when THIS is their hiring experience for those directly servicing that high end clientele.
