I applied to Magic Windows at the beginning of July. The first interview was awesome and I was asked to come in again for another interview. The second interview was "okay" but I felt like the "boss" was somewhat insulting my experience and the current position I was in. I applied for a customer service role and he demoted the offer to admin and even then I was still open to working for this business. I was told to wait one day for a "definite call back". He never called me I called and I was told I would get a call by the end of the week. Again nobody called me until 2 weeks later( It is now August). I was notified I was not forgotten but they wanted to reoffer the position I applied for. Since I was working for an organization ( which they knew) I told them I could start in two weeks which they said was no problem. All they requested is that I send them my references and they would create a contract for me. Magic Windows and Doors completely wasted my time because not only did they not call my references they never called me back to explain. I'm not upset that I didn't get the job, I'm upset that they wasted my time. I drove there twice and responded to all their useless communication. Also as a woman of colour, I'm sure my ethnicity motivated their urgency(or lack of).
