My experience: Pretty long progress, took about a month to get an interview. The interview was virtual with a department manager, some staff, and a nursing student (I didn’t want this thought it was pretty rude and inconsiderate to the person interviewing) They asked mostly situational questions with little interest or regard getting to know me as person. At the end of the interview I was told “you should here back from HR or if they don’t reach out contact them...” It’s a lot of work completing the application and they also make you add 4 references prior to the interview, a lot of work is done on our end for this process so I think the least they can do is act engaged and interested in the actual interview which was not my experience. My stats: just for people interested in applying or thinking about it. I had a 3.9 GPA, multiple past healthcare experiences and references. I truly don’t even think they gave me the time of day. I also wasn’t given any of my three choices that I requested on my application (they do say this happens and that they try there best to match you) My opinion overall: it was a pretty bad first ever nurse interview experience for my self it’s not that they were rude it was just blahhhhhh. I felt like they didn’t really want to interview me or even hire a new nurse for that matter. I also wish they asked me more about my experiences than generic robotic situational questions.

You apply online and rank your top 3 floor choices and rank your preferred hospitals. If selected, you then have an interview with one floor and a manager or two from that specific floor.
