I received an interview through an employee referral. I contacted someone on LinkedIn for an informational interview and my resume was passed on to HR. A few weeks later I had an in person interview where I met with five different people and was offered the position a few days later.

Interviewed with HR over phone. Had a second round phone call with Executive. It was a fairly easy process and both of the phone calls I had with Makovsky staff were very pleasant. Aside from emphasizing writing and communication skills, a lot of the interview is fit and I feel like they hire more based on fit than how technically sound your skills are. With any job, this included, no matter the proficiency of your skill set, finding a connection in to the company is the most ideal opportunity to obtain an offer.
