Extremely weird company. Been submitted via a recruiting agency and they kept back and forth asking million and one questions for over a month. Mostly only focused on revenue generation and I presume fishing to obtain contacts more than anything. Received request to share final interview meeting dates and more questions to breakdown revenue generation for last 3 years and split of new work vs retained business which I always provided with detail. Then out of the blue they decided that I was too strategy focused vs operational improvement focused - where a) if they really review the CV they will see that i have over 20years experience in operational restructuring gained from top tier firms and advising top global clients (which is the reason why they were very interested in my profile and b) so only suddenly they realised that (even if I was strategy focused) after over a month of fishing for contacts as oppose to actually genuinely caring about candidates and what I can bring to the firm.
Overall very bad and unprofessional firm and one to definitely steer away from and thank goodness I didn't waste my time to travel to Reading to meet the entire family tree ! Dont recommend. I think there are far more reputable firms out there
