The process was via a recruitment company. My CV was sent across and within two days I was asked for an interview. The interview was easy with no difficult questions. The interviewer seemed distracted. He said I can do the job and with my experience they can teach me. Therefore would like me to meet the FD in 2 weeks time. I forwarded my feedback to the recruitment company as the time and date of the 2nd interview would be confirmed. Then after 3 days wait the recruitment company said they have offered the role to someone else and would not be perusing my application. I found that the interviewer led me on and provided false hopes. The interview should not have said he would like me to meet the FD and then decided to offer the role elsewhere. Very unprofessional for a resourcing company.
