      Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Marriott International

      Colloquio

      I was contacted by a recruiting firm I was working with about this opportunity. I was very excited about the position and the phone interviewer told me I'd be a good fit for the position. However, there were some inconsistencies about the term of the contract and the phone interview left me under-whelmed. The recruiters told me it was a long-term, contract-to-hire, whereas my interviewer told me it was only 2-3 months. As for the phone interview itself, apparently they forgot they had an interview with me so I was "stood up." They rescheduled for later in the day, but only one person from the original three was able to attend. It was very apparent that he had not been planning on leading the interview and that he was not the decision maker/hiring manager. The recruiter told me they wanted to set up an in-person interview, but then a few days later said they had changed their mind (apparently b/c she had told them about some of my concerns about the contract/inconsistencies, which I had asked her not to share) and that they had hired someone else they had phone interviewed. NOTE: they did not meet with this person, they only did a phone interview with them. All in all, I'm relieved that it went that way. Anyone who hires someone purely off a phone interview isn't looking for a permanent hire, nor do I think they'd be a great supervisor.
